Tucson Zoo

I love this photo of the lion, he is just so tired!
I have always loved Giraffes, so we have a gazillion photos of them. This is my favorite because it almost looks like I took it on an African Safari (which it is my dream to go on one).

I just love this photo of Joshua, it was so much fun to take him to the Zoo, I have taken him before, but he is now at the age where he is actually interested and loves all of the animals.

Joshua loves anything up in the air, and this is one of his usual expressions when he sees a bird, airplane, or balloon.

Joshua loves being a big boy and pushing his own stroller, or even the grocery cart.

Catalina Mts and Grand Canyon

One of the days we were in AZ we took a drive up the Catalina Mountains, they were so pretty. The further you got up into the mountains the bigger the boulders got, and they were all sitting on teeny tiny little rocks, I definitely would not want to be anywhere near there during an earthquake, most of the rocks looked as if they were going to fall at any moment.
Snow in Tucson, AZ! Crazy Alaskans, there is snow out. While up in the mountains we found a little bit of snow so we had to get a photo.

Do you see that little bit of a shadowy area? That's the Grand Canyon. While driving up from Tucson to Provo we got a small glimpse of the Grand Canyon.

Fun in Arizona

We went to Arizona to visit my Grandparents earlier this month, we were only there a few days as we were driving through. We had so much fun, it was nice to get to see the sun and actually feel it's heat. Joshua loved playing in the pool, but somehow I've lost those photos (don't know how I managed that one). And we just had a ton of fun hanging out with my grandparents.
The last night we were there my Parents came from Cancun to visit, and so we had to take the opportunity to get photos of all of us. They were also nice enough to offer to keep Joshua and bring him home on the airplane instead of having a oh so wonderful four day drive with a 18 month old. It was way nice not having to force him into the car and I am sure that the trip was a lot faster without him, but I miss him terribly, in fact I am about to head out to pick them up from the airport.

Papa has an organ, and it is his tradition to take a video of each of the great grandchildren playing their own little symphony. It is to long to put on here, but I was sitting on the bench with him and kept trying to play with him and he kept pushing my hands away. He is defiantly turning into a very independent boy.

Halloween (finally)

I know I know, this has taken me way to long to get these photos up, but better late than never, right??? Anyhow, as you can see Joshua was a lion, and he had so much fun crawling around the house roaring at everything, it was sooo cute. We took Joshua trunker treating at the church, and he loved it. It was FREEZING cold out but it was still fun. And just a little bragging side note, I made his costume.

Steph came with us and so she sat in the car with Vyrl while James and I took the kids around for candy. Jack went as a monkey, Tate(not in the photo) was a pea in a pod, Joshua was a lion, Vyrl was a frog, Bryce was a construction worker his shirt said Bryce's Custom Tree Forts and he used his little tool box to collect his candy (way cute) and Carli of course was a princess.

Cheeky Joshua!

Joshua loves to stack peanut butter jars up and then knock them down. Normally I will help him stack them, but the other day I found him with a stack taller than him.
Joshua loves his Sadi! he is always hugging on her and kissing and laying on top of her. Our poor pup, she puts up with so much.

James graduated from the C.O. Academy last friday, and Joshua loved his new badge. I could not get a very good photo of him smiling and see the badge, but I love his big cheesy grin.
