Bridal shower gift

I am going to a bridal shower of a girl that I have known for quite a while, so I decided to make her a cookie cook book to go with the cookie sheets that I am giving her. I had seen a card made with a stamp set that I have, that had cookies on it and wanted to use the idea, but what do you do with a cookie card? So I figured this was my oportunity.
This is probably Joshua's favorite towel, although he does not use it as a towel. He has just started to like his sun glasses, now that summer is over, oh well.
It is hard to tell what is on his head, but Joshua loves to wear James' hats.

Camping Trip with Harmans

For some reason I did not take any photos on the first day of camping, maybe it was because it rained almost the whole day. And I did not remember to take any photos on our way out, until we were half way home. Our poor little Sadi girl got so tired running along side the 4wheelers, James had to let her ride along with us. We tried to have her ride in the trailer, but she would not sit down and kept getting thrown around and would jump out. What a SPOILED dog!
Josh kept getting stuck and so he decided to make it look like Ashley was the one driving. Our little 4wheeler has made it back there before without any problems, but it has been raining a lot lately and the water is a bit higher than normal.
Josh decided to take a different route than we did, and ended up with the front of the 4wheeler in a big hole. We looked back and all we saw was the white top of the cooler, Josh and Ashley, and the back of the machine sticking up in the air, needless to say, we used the wintch quite a bit.
Poor Ashley got this view a good portion of the trip, even when he did not need to be standing up, Josh thought it was funny and kept his booty in his lovely wife's face.

Ride on Vacuum Cowboy!

Joshua loves the vacuum! The other night he had made a mess with his animal crackers and so I was vacuuming it up, and all he wanted was to vacuum by himself. After I was done, I let him vacuum, and then he started to ride it.
What a good helper! I am thinking about getting him a toy vacuum, so that he can vacuum with me instead of fight me for the vacuum.
The other day I was running late getting lunch ready, so Joshua was really tired by the time we started eating. At first he was just zoning out, and the next thing I knew, he was out cold.
I need to get a video of this, but every time James leave to work the night shift, Joshua will stand at the top of the stairs and wait for him to get his shoes on, and then he gives his Dad kisses and waves good bye. The moment that James shuts the door, Joshua races around the sofa and climbs up onto the arm. If He cannot see James yet, he will pound on the window, and yell "Dada" and then he waves until James is out of sight. It is soooo cute.
One of my sweet Sister-in-Laws sent us a package the other day, and in it there were these cute shoes for Joshua. At first when looking at them I thought they might just barely fit, so I went and got the shoes that he wears right now ( the blue ones on the outside), hmm, nope definitely not going to fit. Oh well, I will just keep them for the next kido.
This is a good example of why I hate being so far away from all of our family, James and I have four nephews and one niece that we have never met. And it is so hard to buy them gifts because I never have any clue what size they wear, or what their current favorite is.
Thank you so much Trystan, it was so nice to get a package from you, we loved everything you sent. Amazingly enough, there are even a few twisties left in the bag, every other time we have received a bag James devours them all in one sitting.

July

Last Sunday James switched the red tie that he was wearing to a yellow one, and when he put the red one down, JJ picked it up and wanted to wear it. What Handsome boys I have.
The fun of wearing a tie was short lived. I think that this expression is priceless.
I am sure many of you have seen the little monkey or puppy backpacks for kids that the tail is a leash for your kids. Well, we borrowed JJ's cousin's monkey, and loves to wear it around, but he has to have it on the front of him so that he can hug on it.
Steph and her kids came over the other day, and she laid Vyrl down with his sippy cup, and next thing we know Vyrl had dropped his cup and JJ walked over, picked up the cup, and instead of stealing the cup like he usually does, he gently put it in Vyrl's mouth.
Instead of baby proofing all of my cabinets (I have latches on the important ones ), JJ has a cabinet of his own. Well, his new thing is to pull everything out of the cabinet and crawl in. He loves to find small spaces and crawl in, there is an oppening in our entertainment center that he fits into perfectly with one of his stuffed animals.
