Girly background!

Yeah, it's finally a holiday that I can use a girly background. I love looking at other blogger's fun backgrounds, but since most of my blog is about Joshua, I always feel funny when I try to do a slightly feminine background, but ow with Valentine's Day coming up, I have a great excuse.

Only six days left before we leave for Australia. We are so excited! I will try my best to put some photos up while we are gone, but there is just so much to do, and we only have 31 days in which to do it all. So you may just have to be patient, and I promise to do my best.

Other updates on our family, Joshua has started sleeping in a Big Boy's bed (a toddler bed). I was hopping that he would start coming to get me in the morning instead of laying in bed yelling "Mom... Mama...Mamamamama.........MOM......... MAMAMAMA!" (you get the point) until I went and got him out of bed. Well, now he sits up in his bed and yells for me, and once he can see me he runs to me, not quite what I had in mind, but it works.

Fun with cousin Vyrl

This morning we had my sister's youngest, Vyrl, over, he and Joshua had so much fun, they are about 9 months apart, but Joshua absolutely loves him. They were crawling all over following each other and laughing. After a while Joshua walked over to the refer to do his normal "Mom...Mama" to get my attention and then ask for a drink. When Vyrl saw this he crawled over to the refer and stood up and started calling out with Joshua.
After getting their sippy-cups, Vyrl crawled off and sat down to enjoy his drink. Joshua walked over and carefully positioned himself as close as he could get with out sitting on top of Vyrl.

New Year's Eve, we were getting ready to go out to dinner with my family, and as I was filling a plate full of cookies to share during games afterwards, Joshua reached up grabbed a cookie and started munching down on it before we could do anything. He definitely knows what the good stuff is.

Christmas continued

Joshua got a few new Hot Wheels cars in his stocking, and he held each one up to show the camera. It was really fun, each gift he opened he wanted to stop and play with it, and forget about the rest.
Sadi had to get in on all of the fun. Joshua brought each newly unwrapped toy over to James to remove from the packaging.

About every other time Joshua gets into one of the armed chairs, he tries to get out by going through the arm. Well, needless to say he gets stuck, and then screams until I come to his rescue. So of course I laughed at him and have to take a photo before I help him out.

Because of James' schedule, he worked Christmas eve night, and got home at 6am Christmas morning. So he came to bed until Joshua woke up and then we opened our Christmas presents up and he went back to bed for a while. After a few hours of sleep, it was time to go to my parents house to celebrate with the my family. After opening presents, we were all busy getting food ready and playing with new toys, and I realize James is no where to be seen. I finally find him asleep on one of the sofas with kids running all over screaming with joy over their new toys. Poor guy he was just so tired.

Christmas Photos

Oh my goodness, I have been trying to update my blog forever, and it finally worked yippee! So anyhow, our Internet has been acting up lately, and I went into our Internet company and was treated like an idiot, so needless to say we are changing companies. But for now, as long as my connection is working I am going to update you all with some photos and what we have been up to.
Joshua was so cute Christmas morning, he loved opening his pressies, but as you can tell by his expression, they were hard to open.

James and I bought Joshua the most awesome trike we have ever seen. It is a Lightening McQueen trike that makes all sorts of noises. Joshua absolutely LOVES it! He is also holding his very own Nalgene bottle to be used when we go camping and 4-wheeling this coming summer.

Joshua modeling his new PJ's, sorry about Sadi's crazy eyes.

Joshua loves playing with the few tools that he had, o we bought him a tool box with more tools, and my parents bought him a bag full of tools, this kid has more different types of screw drivers, pliers, and wrenches than his Dad does.

Joshua has always loved the vacuum. It had gotten to the point that I could not vacuum with out him insisting on helping me, and so it took a long time to get the whole house vacuumed. So my parents bought him his own little vacuum. It makes noise, and a little vacuum comes out, so he has his own hand held vacuum for those tight spots.
