Our little man

Joshua is such a happy baby. Some times all you have to do is catch his eye, and he will give you a big toothless grin.
Our little man is so cute I just can't help but take pictures of every little thing he does.

A friend of ours gave us this little soccer outfit, so I thought it would be a cute picture of his big feet.
This is one of my favorite photos because it show some of Joshua's adorable wrinkles.

Part of the last year in pictures

In August '06 we went on a road trip to Whittier on a
beautiful Sunday afternoon.

To get to Whittier you have to drive through a

one way tunnel for a mile.

We stopped at a camp ground on our way, and walked up a little path

to find a bridge over a creek, and this is what we saw.

You cannot see it very well in this picture, but there are eight salmon.

On the way to Whittier we saw Portage Glacier.

Pictures from over the last year (part one)

In July '06 we took Sadi up to Hatcher Pass and went on a hike up to Reed Lakes.
She had so much fun running around in the mountains, and we were
amazed how well she did bouldering to get up to the lakes.

This is one of the reasons I love Alaska. Beautiful warm summer days out in the wilderness with very few people around.

This last winter we had a mama moose and her calf that stayed around our neighborhood.
Carli and Bryce like to play in our basket of hats and gloves.
I found a dog sweatshirt and thought it was perfect for Sadi, for when we take
her outside during the winter so she does not get to cold.

A week in the life of the Guys

I am in the process of making an upholstered head and foot board for our bed. Joshua was helping me put the buttons in for the tufting.
Here is James all dressed up in his dry suit, getting ready to use the dredge to find some gold. You can see part of our 4-wheeler to the right and the front of the Wiesel to the left.
James blessed Joshua on July 1st. Tina's Mom made Joshua's blessing outfit, and the blanket he is laying on in the picture is his Noah's Ark quilt that James' Mum made.

It would not be a family blog if we left Sadi (our Boxer) out of the pictures, she is infatuated with Suzi (our budgie/ parakeet). Sadi loves to follow Suzi around on the floor, and will sit and stare at her for hours.

Sunday afternoon nap

Sadi can't be left out of James's Sunday afternoon nap.

Little Joshua lost almost all of his hair on the top of his head, except one little patch at the front, from certain angles he is almost the spitting image of his Grandad Guy.

Here are the photos

Sorry I guess I am a little impatient, and posted before the photos were attatched. I have not quite figured this thig out to turn the pics, but you get the idea, I had a big belly for our big baby.

JJ's birth

I have decided this is probably the best way to share family pictures since I am not very good at sending emails. So here are a few photos of our little man and the two of us at the hospital. And I will do my best to get more on soon.
