Part of the last year in pictures

In August '06 we went on a road trip to Whittier on a

beautiful Sunday afternoon.

To get to Whittier you have to drive through a

one way tunnel for a mile.

We stopped at a camp ground on our way, and walked up a little path

to find a bridge over a creek, and this is what we saw.

You cannot see it very well in this picture, but there are eight salmon.

On the way to Whittier we saw Portage Glacier.
